I started this company back in 2017 after noticing how hard it was to find beautiful, well-crafted hair sticks. After all, hair sticks were everywhere back in the 90's through early 2000's! As a painter, I needed something to keep my hair out of my face while I worked, but I didn't want hair damage from elastic bands or claw clips. My scalp is sensitive to pressure so it actually hurts to wear some hair styles. Hair Sticks were the only things that worked but the only ones I could find were either too tacky or too plain. That Y2K trend needed to come back in style but was also due up for a major makeover! I have always been one of those people who goes on vacation and brings home rocks and shells that I've discovered along the way. This love of natural elements has guided me in my designs. I make each hair stick myself; inspecting each stone and bead before using to make sure each is something I would be proud to wear. The down side of this is that I often fall in love with stones and then have a hard time parting with them! There is a lot of love and care put into each hair stick that I create.
