The standard base is a 4 1/2 inch black lacquered wood with a unique tapered shape, but after beads are added, the Hair Stick is around 5 1/2 to 6 inches total. A large 6 inch base is available at no additional cost. Most customers prefer to use the smaller 4 1/2 inch base, but you may want to go for the larger 6 inch size if your hair is extremely thick or very long. Click HERE to read more about sizes.

He referred to the mineral as “magnes” because it was found near the town of Magnesia in Thessaly, Greece.
